Common Questions About the Complete Home System
What does the complete system include?
It combines three technologies: a whole-house carbon pre-filter that reduces chlorine, taste, and odor at every tap, an ion-exchange water softener for hardness, and a reverse osmosis drinking water system under the kitchen sink for the highest level of purification where you drink and cook.
How long does installation take?
Most complete-system installs take 4–6 hours from start to finish, starting at the main water entry point for the whole-house components and finishing at the kitchen sink for the RO faucet. Same-week installation is typically available.
Do I need the full system, or just a softener?
If hard water is your only concern — scale on fixtures, dry skin, spots on dishes — a softener alone may handle it. The complete system makes sense if you also want chlorine and contaminants addressed at the whole-house level, plus purified water at the tap. A free water test tells us what your home actually needs.
What maintenance does the system require?
The softener needs salt added periodically — we'll tell you what to expect for your household. As typical guidance, RO filters are changed about every 6–12 months, and the membrane lasts a few years depending on your water. We provide a filter schedule with every installation.
