Common Questions About the 5-Stage Reverse Osmosis
How often does the RO membrane need replacing?
As typical guidance, the pre- and post-filters are replaced about every 6–12 months, and the RO membrane lasts longer, depending on water quality and usage.
Does RO remove minerals from my water?
Yes — reverse osmosis removes most dissolved solids, including minerals. If you want minerals added back, the 7-stage HW800 AlkaPro with its alkaline remineralization stage is worth considering instead.
